Understanding eGFR & CKD
eGFR (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) is the best measure of kidney function. The 2021 CKD-EPI equation was updated to remove race as a variable, producing more equitable and accurate estimates for all patients. A single eGFR below 60 for more than 3 months indicates Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
Why Test eGFR?
CKD often has no symptoms in early stages. Regular eGFR testing allows early detection, giving you time to slow or even reverse kidney decline with proper treatment.
Ayurvedic Approach
Ayurveda focuses on root-cause treatment — detoxification, herbal therapy, and lifestyle changes to restore kidney health naturally, without harsh side effects.
Improving eGFR
With Dr. Dhankhar's specialised Ayurvedic protocols, many patients have seen significant improvements in their eGFR and quality of life, even at advanced stages of CKD.
